The aim of this webquest was simple, to help you develop an understanding of the factors that have influenced and shaped music over time. You will now have a solid foundation of social, political events, culture, globalisation and a changing music industry when considering music and how it has changed over time. Presenting findings through a ten minute group presentation encourages the development of soft skills such as collaboration, group work, communication and discourse skills, whilst learning is consolidated by allowing you to deliver content in a structured manner supported by a variety of multi media.
You will also have developed higher order thinking skills such as synthesis, analysis and evaluation by delivering a short composition or performance in a selected style.
